Houens Odde
Houens Odde Scout Centre, or 'Odden' colloquially, is the KFUM-Scouts national centre and is beautifully situated in a forest environment surrounded by water. This allows for a multitude of nature activities. The centre has been in our association's possession for over 40 years and consists of three main areas.
The Gilwell Cottages
A modern training centre used for conferences, meetings and courses. The cottages are used both by KFUM-Scouts and by companies and other non-scout organizations.
The Activity Centre
Used mainly for scout camps and events, the Activity Centre offers a wide variety of water activities: sailing in optimist dinghies, on rafts and in canoe and kayaks. On land the activities range from pioneering, archery and axe throwing to orienteering and handicrafts. The centre lies in a woodland area and has a large number of campsites of varying sizes.
Nature and Outdoor Centre Steensgaarden
A combination of a youth hostel and training/activity centre. The centre affords countless possibilities to experience nature, explore the surroundings and enjoy outdoor life.
