Green Centres
A place to start your visit to Denmark is at one of our many centres. At the KFUM-Scouts we call them Green Centres (Grønne Centre). A Green Centre provides activities all year including Center Camps in the summertime. Pick a centre at the list below, only Houens Odde, Hummelmosen and Næsbycentret have English websites, or find links and general information about scout centres from all scout associations in Danmark using the link under related subjects.
Houens Odde
Houens Odde is the KFUM-Scouts national centre and offers many different activities between which the groups can choose. The different activities are run either by the group’s own leaders or by the Houmen – because some of the activities need special training and handling of equipment concerning safety etc.
The Houmen are the voluntary staff working at the centre. The staff changes every week and they are always prepared to help you with guidance and assistance during your stay.
Næsbycentret
Situated in the middle of Zealand the Naesbycentre. All summer it is possible to take part in our camps run by the Naesfolk, a organisation of volunteers who keep the center in shape all year round. For foreign scouts we offer a range of different activities. Apart from the activities that are available all summer we also arrange what you can se in the calendar on the website
Hummelmosen
Scout Centre Hummelmosen is situated right in the middle of Djursland, the "nose" of Jutland. Hummelmosen has two main facilities which is a modern hutand a big and lovely camp area. Through out the year it is possible to rent both the hut and a place to stay in the camp area - or both in combination. During the summer you can participate in what we call a Centre Camp. It is also possible to camp in the area outside the summertime.
Moselund
Moselund is in the center of Jutland close to Århus.
Port Arthur
Port Arthur is in the center of Funen 15 km south of Odense.
Terp
Terp is situated in the southern part of Jutland.
Arresø
Arresøcentret is in North Zealand.
Rømergaard
Spejdercenteret Rømeregård is situated at Bornholm.
Trevæld
Trevæld lies in Jutland 20 km southwest from Skive.
Thorup Hede
Thorup Hede is in North Jutland.
