The Scout Law is really the essence of our association's aim. When you reach the scout age (11-12 years) you promise to do your best to keep this law.
Scouting is brought to life in the local group, which organizes the weekly meeting and five to eight camps a year. The highlight is the annual week-long summercamp.
The outdoor life is a central part of scouting. We find that nature is the perfect setting for children and young people to seek new challenges and thereby develop in the company of others. By being in nature the scout also learns to respect it and to realize its wonders and magic.
We are scouts and we use the methods and pedagogy of scouting in our work. The affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church entails that it is part of our aim to give children and young people the chance to find purpose in life, through the propogation of Christian values - while leaving room for questions, discussion and doubt. The Gospel is made relevant by applying it to the everyday life of the scouts.
